There are
outdoor seating areas adjacent to the drawing room for catching the warm rays
in summer months. There is a cosy nook in the hallway, with a wood-burning
stove, for those crisp autumnal evenings.
There are
two dining rooms at Kilgraney – the cherub-adorned, mulberry dining room
for a more intimate experience and the tribal art dining room where
communal dining is offered, for up to twelve guests, around a locally made
limestone table complete with cutlery, crockery and glassware sourced as
far away as Thailand and as close as Kilkenny.
Guest accommodation comprises of six
comfortable and exquisitely idiosyncratic bedrooms and two contemporary and
stylist courtyard suites. All guest bedrooms are furnished and decorated in
their own unique style and all have en-suite bathroom facilities. All
bedrooms are non-smoking rooms.
At Kilgraney we try to create a retreat
away from the hassle and bustle of everyday life and to ensure this we
close all house activities at 1.00am so that all
quests can have a good nights sleep.
